Garda lake is the largest natural basin of Italy.
To the north part is dominated by towering rocks and the south part lies between morainic hills, full of prestigious vineyards. For the particular morphological conformation, the whole lake basin has a mild climate, a condition that favors the development of a generous vegetation.
From the historical point of view the Garda offers interesting perspectives: from prehistoric settlements to the Venetian Republic, from the French to the Habsburg presence until the newest Salo republic.
Peschiera and Sirmione, two of the most beautiful spots on Lake Garda, are located few km from Novoi.
